About Us
Scott WhiteScott was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1971, having obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from Auckland University. In 2000 he became a Certified Financial Planner after completing his studies at Massey University.
He is one of only a few Chartered Accountants who is also an Authorised Financial Adviser (AFA).
Scott is an enthusiastic property investor and is well known for his down to earth and very easily understood explanations of the issues involving property investment, other investments, accounting and taxation.
He has frequently acted as president, secretary and treasurer of many professional and community organisations.
The things Scott loves most about his job is that it's never boring, what with meeting new people, with challenges every day, to stouches with the IRD, there is never a dull moment.

Chieko White
Chieko came to New Zealand from Japan in 1985 and she's also proud to be a Kiwi these days despite keeping in close touch with her family in Japan. She joined Scott at Tax Smart in 2010.
Chieko looks after all the general and office administration work and does all those jobs that nobody else wants to do.
In her spare time Chieko loves to go shopping, watching movies and meeting friends.
